Android is a mobile phones operating system based on Linux. Android is an open platform for developers to create applications for their own use by a variety of mobile devices. Initially, Google Android Inc.bought Inc., newcomers that makes software for mobile phones. After developing Android, formed the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 34 companies offering hardware, software and telecommunications, like Google, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-Mobile, and Nvidia.
Android version 1.1
On March 9, 2009, Google released version 1.1 of Android. Android version is equipped with an aesthetic upgrade of the request, alarm clock, voice search (Sound Research), sending messages to Gmail, e-mail notification.
Android version 1.5 (Cupcake)
In mid-May 2009, re-released Google Android mobile phone use and the SDK (Software Development Kit) with version 1.5 (Cupcake).
